Photo handling

Project Photo Policy

Project photos help Golden Fence understand access, damage, gates, post bases, and site conditions before an inspection.

Effective September 4, 2026 · Last updated September 4, 2026

What to upload

Upload only relevant photos of the property and fence project that you own or are authorized to share. Avoid images of people, children, faces, license plates, mail, identity documents, security codes, neighboring private areas, or unrelated valuables.

How photos are processed

The planner accepts JPG, PNG, and WEBP images. Before a photo is stored, the service removes embedded location, camera, EXIF, XMP, IPTC, and similar metadata supported by those formats. The sanitized image is stored in a private bucket and is not made available through a public photo URL.

Purpose and review

Golden Fence may review photos to understand the project, prepare for follow-up, and improve the accuracy of an on-site estimate. Photos are not used to train a public artificial intelligence model. A photo review is not a structural, engineering, code, permit, property-line, or utility-locate inspection.

Retention and deletion

Photos are scheduled for deletion 90 days after upload unless they are needed longer for an active project, a dispute, security, or a legal obligation. To request earlier deletion, email goldenfence.office@gmail.com with your name and request reference, or call (206) 202-3807. We may verify your identity before deleting records.

Your responsibility

By uploading a photo and checking the photo consent box, you confirm that you have permission to share it and authorize Golden Fence and its service providers to process it for the purposes described here and in the Privacy Policy.
